Sunny winter day

Hey! Sorry for the lack of posts, but I've been pretty sick and am finally back to my strengths, and just in time for New Years! It's such a beautiful day today. I went to the hairdressers and when I came home, I couldn't resist finally taking some new photos with my favorite scarf, which I've just rediscovered :) How did you celebrate Christmas? We had a delicious Christmas dinner, and my mom got me 3 new rings from Scorett, which I've wanted for a long time (I've been having obsessions with huge rings lately:))! Tomorrow is New Year's Eve, and we're having a party where everyone brings some homemade food. I've decided to make sushi and a joghurt cake, I'll post some pictures when I finish :)
Oh, about my DIY project, I need to find studs, desparately, and preferably not from eBay, but somewhere in Ljubljana...anyone?? :)

DIY project - studded Converse

Hey there!
Sorry for the lack of posts, but I've been really busy with exams..it feels so nice to be able to read blogs and have a bit of free time to work on my own..
Recently, I've been wanting to do a DIY project, and I think I just found the perfect one! I have an old pair of converse at home, which I don't really wear a lot, because they're a weird beige color that I used to like... Now, I'm thinking of coloring them black and adding some studs to them..so they would look a bit like this:

I only have two tiny problems: I haven't yet figured out how to color the converse, nor where exactly to buy studs :) any ideas?

Ripped jeans

I was browsing through some shops in town and stumbled upon these jeans, which just happened to be 50% off. Of course, I couldn't resist, especially since I've been wanting to make my own version of ripped jeans, but I could never decide on which jeans to sacrifice, so this cheap alternative is exactly what I needed! :)

Dress up

Every now and then I go through my closet and try on clothes and different combinations, just so I don't forget what I have in my closet. So, the last time I did this, I took a few pictures, sorry for the bad quality, but it was getting dark and this is the best i could do :) I love this Zara leather belt, it's so practical and can make any outfit great. Also, I found these leggings I bought the last time I was in Sweden and decided I have to start wearing them more often. Also, I bought new "torn up" pants yesterday, so I'll try to put up outfit pics with them soon!

How amazing are these boots?? I've been wanting them for such a long time, they're just perfect! If only they didn't cost a small fortune for my student budget...oh well...someday :) 

Fall obsessions

I'm in love with textile/leather combinations at the moment, they're totally my style, and I can find a lot of good pieces now. Also loving sheer materials, camel colors and woolen sweaters. Here are some of my favorite pieces from Gina Tricot's collection..I guess I'm gonna have to order something soon, maybe a (very) early Christmas present? :)

Autumn spirit

Hey there! Andrej and I took this photo a few days ago on a field near his house. It's starting to look like autumn, and this photo for me, represents autumn. The colors, the low sun, everything supposedly dying away,  but for me it represents a new season and with it, new beginnings. Have a great day!!

Ok, when I saw Gina Tricot's fall collection, I went to check out their website, and found these skirts..I love all the patterns so much, I can't decide which is my favorite.. Pair this skirt up with a simple shirt and a blazer, and you've got yourself a great outfit!

I love Gina Tricot's fall collection...the colors,the materials, and just how relaxed the overall looks are. My favorite piece is the scarf in the last picture, and I also love all of the woolen tights. What do you think?
